Guam Public Health Laboratory Tests Three Individuals for COVID-19; All Cleared for COVID-19
The Guam Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) continues to work with local and federal partners to address the threat of the virus that causes COVID-19. Currently, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Guam. Guam continues to assess the situation as it evolves. With any change in status, anticipate timely notification.
On March 14, 2020, the DPHSS Guam Public Health Laboratory in Tamuning tested three samples of surveillance cases. All three samples tested negative for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes the COVID-19 illness.
From March 12, 2020 through March 14, 2020, a grand total of nine tests have been performed. All nine are negative for COVID-19.
