The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is actively expanding the local workforce to enhance their capacity to respond effectively to disaster events in the Pacific region. FEMA is opening additional Local Hire positions and individuals recruited through this hiring event could potentially play a crucial role in supporting ongoing relief efforts, such as response to Typhoon Mawar.

All applicants must be U.S. citizens, 18 years of age or older, and possess a high school diploma or GED. Individuals will be required to pass a background investigation that includes finger printing and credit check. Employees are also required to participate in mandatory direct deposit/electronic funds transfer for salary payment.
