Inaugural Guam Homeland Security – Senior Advisory Council Meeting

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) will host the inaugural Guam Homeland Security – Senior Advisory Committee (GHS-SAC) meeting on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Pacific Star Resort.
 
Through Executive Order 2003-13, the then Governor of Guam established the Homeland Security Advisory Council on April 21, 2003. The purpose of the GHS-SAC is to provide independent, strategic, timely, specific, and actionable advice to the Guam Homeland Security Advisor (HSA) and senior leadership on matters related to homeland Security. During the initial meeting, topics will include the way ahead for Guam Homeland Security; the development of future protection, prevention, response, and recovery plans; partnering opportunities; and other emergent issues.
 
Attendees include homeland security and emergency management personnel and heads of agencies from the government of Guam, federal, military, private, and non-profit organizations.
