GHS/OCD Hosts Tabletop Exercise in Preparation for GDOE Schools Opening

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in coordination with the Guam Department of Education (GDOE), are hosting an “Opening of Schools” virtual Tabletop Exercise (TTX) from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

The intent of the virtual TTX is to identify gaps and ways to improve school opening operations. As part of the virtual TTX, attendees will review different COVID-19 centric scenarios to discuss the systems in place, protective measures, response activities, and recovery operations as it relates to COVID-19.

Participants include representatives from the Office of the Governor, GDOE, the Joint Information Center, the State Surgeon Cell, Department of Public Health and Social Services, Department of Public Works, GHS/OCD, Guam Fire Department, Guam Police Department, and the Guam National Guard.
