The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in conjunction with the National Disaster Preparedness Training Center (NDPTC), will host the Planning for Disaster Debris Management (MGT-460) training virtually on Monday, June 21 to Tuesday, June 22, from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The two-day training is offered at no cost to eligible participants and is meant to enable participants to outline a disaster debris management plan and recognize special considerations when planning for debris management after a natural disaster.
The target audience for the course include emergency management personnel, and officials from agricultural safety, citizen/community volunteer, fire services, governmental administration, emergency medical services, healthcare, hazardous materials, security and safety, public health, public works, and search and rescue.
