GHS/OCD Host ICS-300 & ICS-400 Training

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) will host two Incident Command System (ICS) training opportunities at the GHS/OCD facility in Agana Heights. The courses follow:

  • March 19 – 21, 2018 (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) – ICS-300: Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents
  • March 22 – 23, 2018 (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) – ICS-400: Advanced ICS Command and General Staff

ICS-300 and ICS-400 provide training for personnel who require advanced application of the Incident Command System. These comprehensive courses expand upon information covered in the ICS-100 and ICS-200 courses. Topics include describing how the National Incident Management System Command and Management component supports the management of expanding incidents, the incident/event management process for supervisors and expanding incidents as prescribed by ICS, the incident management process on a simulated expanding incident, and developing an Incident Action Plan for a simulated incident.

Attendees for these courses include senior personnel from Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas who may assume a supervisory role in expanding emergency incidents and who are expected to perform in a management capacity at an incident or event.
