Flood Advisory in effect until 5:15pm

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam issued a flood advisory is in effect for Guam until 5:15pm.  

Expect minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some villages that may experience flooding include: Dededo, Tamuning, Yigo, Mangilao, Chalan Pago-Ordot, Barrigada, Yona, Hagatna Heights, Talofofo, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, Sinajana, Asan and Piti.

The offices of Guam Homeland Security/Civil Defense remind the public to exercise caution when driving and to remember: Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flooddeaths occur in vehicles.
