The National Weather Service (NWS) Guam Weather Forecast Office issued a special weather statement for Guam. A line of fast moving showers, with wind gusts in excess of 30 mph, will impact portions of Guam through 5:30 p.m.

Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Some locations that will experience impact include Dededo, Tamuning, Yigo, Mangilao, Chalan Pago-Ordot, Barrigada, Yona, Hagatna Heights, Andersen AFB, Talofofo, Mongmong-Toto-Maite, Sinajana, Inarajan, Asan, Merizo, Piti, Santa Rita, and Umatac.

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD) advise the community to practice caution while traveling in rainy conditions, driving below the speed limit and allowing enough braking distance between vehicles. Practice caution if outdoors.
