The U.S. Geological Survey recorded an earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.2 that struck 176 km S of Merizo Village, Guam, with a depth of 44.1 km, at 6:29 a.m. (ChST).
There were no reports made to Guam 911 dispatch of damages or injuries from the earthquake and there was no tsunami threat to the Marianas.
