Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Twelve (12) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 821 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, May 16, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 16.
On May 15, 2021, in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order No. 2021-10, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) Guidance Memorandum 2020-11 Rev11 will come into effect. Concurrently, the DPHSS Guidance Memorandum 2020-11 Rev11 will be applied to those who are in the Government of Guam Quarantine Facility (QFAC) or those travelers who are in home quarantine, effective May 15, 2021, 12:01 a.m.
Sixteen (16) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 841 tests performed on Thursday, May 13. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,079 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 89 cases in active isolation, and 7,851 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.6.
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-15, relative to restrictions and allowable activities and operations during Pandemic Condition of Readiness 3 (PCOR 3) in accordance with Executive Order No. 2021-10.

Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) received an additional set of results from virus samples collected on Guam which have undergone genome sequencing by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Seventeen (17) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 829 tests performed on Tuesday, May 11. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. Five (5) cases were identified through contact tracing.
One (1) new case of COVID-19 was identified out of 360 tests performed on Monday, May 10. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine. To date, there have been a total of 8,044 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 88 cases in active isolation, and 7,817 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.8.
Seven (7) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 525 tests performed by the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) on Sunday, May 9, and from tests run by other labs between Friday, May 7 to Sunday, May 9. Two (2) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine. Two (2) cases were identified through contact tracing.
