Information on Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued DPHSS Guidance Memo 2020-11 REV 11 Amendment 3, relative to critical service workers (CSW) arriving into Guam who are not fully vaccinated with a US FDA EUA COVID-19 vaccine.
Nine (9) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 673 tests performed on Tuesday, June 8. Seven (7) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,224 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 55 cases in active isolation, and 8,030 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.5.
Five (5) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 516 tests performed on Monday, June 7. To date, there have been a total of 8,215 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 47 cases in active isolation, and 8,029 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.7.
Six (6) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 799 tests performed Friday, June 4 through Sunday, June 6. One (1) case was identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,210 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 59 cases in active isolation, and 8,012 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.6.
Eleven (11) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 336 tests performed Thursday, June 3. Six (6) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,204 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 65 cases in active isolation, and 8,000 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.7.
Six (6) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 530 tests performed Wednesday, June 2. Three (3) cases were identified through contact tracing. To date, there have been a total of 8,193 officially reported cases of COVID-19 with 139 deaths, 63 cases in active isolation, and 7,991 not in active isolation. The CAR Score is 0.5.
Fourteen (14) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 522 tests performed Tuesday, June 1. One (1) case reported recent travel history and was identified in quarantine.
Seventeen (17) new cases of COVID-19 were identified out of 1,242 tests performed between Friday, May 28 and Monday, May 31. Three (3) cases reported recent travel history and were identified in quarantine.
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) received an additional set of results from virus samples collected on Guam which have undergone genome sequencing by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Virus samples were collected between March 2021 and April 2021.
