Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) reported a preliminary case count of 95 new cases of COVID-19 from 529 specimens analyzed on September 25. Additional results are pending analysis and submission from other clinics and will be reported on Monday, September 27. To date, there have been a total of 14,374 officially reported cases, 184 deaths, 3,185 cases in active isolation, and 11,005 not in active isolation. As of September 24, the CAR Score is 25.7.

Watch for emergency warning signs for COVID-19. Seek emergency medical care immediately or call 911 if you have trouble breathing, persistent pain or pressure in the chest, new confusion, inability to wake or stay awake, or bluish lips or face.
Today, the Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) issued DPHSS Guidance Memo 2021-28, which provides additional guidance relative to persons with a documented previous COVID-19 infection. Individuals who have contracted and recovered from COVID-19 within the previous ninety (90) days and show no symptoms of infection may be eligible for exemption from weekly COVID-19 testing. Individuals seeking such exemption must present the following documents to their immediate supervisor:
The Joint Information Center (JIC) was notified that Guam’s 183rd and 184th COVID-19-related fatalities occurred at the Guam Memorial Hospital on September 23, 2021:
The Joint Information Center (JIC) was notified that Guam’s 182nd COVID-19-related fatality occurred at the Guam Regional Medical City on September 21, 2021. The patient was a 76-year-old male, unvaccinated, with multiple underlying health conditions, who tested positive on September 5.
