NWS Issues Advisories for the Marianas; Increased Fire Danger

The National Weather Service (NWS), Weather Forecast Office Guam, has issued a red flag warning for Guam, in effect until 8 p.m. this evening. A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures will create ideal conditions for rapid spread of wildfire.
