JIC Release No. 15 - Guam in COR 1; Remain Indoors

Hagåtña, Guam – Acting Governor Joshua F. Tenorio has placed Guam in Condition of Readiness (COR) 1 as of 12 p.m. COR 1 means damaging winds are expected or have already arrived. The island is forecast to experience heavy flooding, especially in low-lying areas. A flash flood warning is in effect until 6:30 p.m.

JIC Release No. 10 - Typhoon Wutip – Healthcare Update

The Department of Public Health and Social Services (DPHSS) announces that at Condition of Readiness (COR) 2, the Northern Region Community Health Center (NRCHC) in Dededo and the Southern Region Community Health Center (SRCHC) in Inarajan will remain open and the following limited services will be provided:

JIC Release No. 8 - Tropical Storm Warning in Effect for Guam; COR 2 Anticipated for 4 p.m. Today

The National Weather Service (NWS) - Guam Weather Forecast Office continues to monitor Tropical Storm Wutip. NWS has placed Guam in a Tropical Storm Warning as of 11 a.m. Guam remains in Condition of Readiness 3 at this time. Acting Governor Tenorio and Brig. Gen. Boswell anticipate placing Guam and the respective military bases in COR 2 at 4 p.m. today, February 22, 2019.

The Department of Public Works (DPW) will continue bus service operations until Condition of Readiness (COR) 2 is announced. As previously stated, COR 2 is anticipated for some time later this afternoon.
