Joint Information Center - JIC Release No. 8 : Astumbo Elementary School Shelter at Max Capacity; Guam Remains in COR 1; Travelers Encouraged to Check Flight Status

Guam and the respective military bases remain in Condition of Readiness (COR) 1 and Tropical Cyclone Condition of Readiness (TCCOR) 1 as of 12 p.m., July 5, 2026. 

Emergency Evacuation Centers Update
As of 12:30 p.m., occupancy levels for each center are listed below. 

IMPORTANT: Astumbo Elementary School has reached maximum capacity, and those who are seeking shelter are being redirected to Maria A. Ulloa Elementary School.
