Individual Assistance Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment
The Guam Recovery Office (GRO) is conducting an Individual Assistance (IA) Joint Preliminary Damage Assessment (JPDA) from July 28 through July 31, 2026.
During this period, JPDA teams — consisting of FEMA IA, U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and Village Mayor representatives — will conduct residential site visits to collect and validate disaster-related housing damage reported following Super Typhoon Bavi. The assessment will help confirm Guam's Initial Damage Assessment findings and support the Territory's request for federal disaster assistance.
Your presence is not required for the visit.
Important Information
The JPDA site visit is not a FEMA application, does not constitute FEMA registration, and does not guarantee that federal assistance will be approved or provided. As of July 2026, FEMA Individual Assistance has not been approved.
