Joint Information Center - JIC Recovery Release No. 34 : AMERICAN RED CROSS TO OPEN RESOURCE CENTERS FOR RESIDENTS IMPACTED BY SUPER TYPHOON BAVI

American Red Cross Resource Centers
The American Red Cross is opening resource centers for residents impacted by Super Typhoon Bavi. Residents whose homes sustained major damage or were destroyed may meet with a Red Cross caseworker and apply for financial assistance.

Resource centers will operate at the following locations:
  • Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — Agana Shopping Center, Hagåtña
  • Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — Micronesia Mall, Dededo
  • Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1, 2026 — 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. — Jeromy Newby Community Youth Center, Talo’fo’fo

What to Bring
A valid form of identification and address verification are required to apply for financial assistance.

Accepted forms of address verification include:
  • Mayor’s Verification
  • Utility bill showing the applicant’s home address
  • Bank statement showing the applicant’s home address

Who Should Apply
The American Red Cross is prioritizing residences that sustained major structural damage or were completely destroyed. Red Cross teams will speak with residents on a case-by-case basis.
