Guam High School Receives Bomb Threat

At around 2:30 p.m., the Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense received notification from E911 dispatch of a reported bomb threat that was called in for Guam High School.

The Guam Police Department and Navy Police are on scene conducting a sweep of the facility with K-9 units. The Naval Base Guam (NBG) Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit is on standby.

All measures are being taken to ensure the safety of the public and all responders involved. Guam High School and surrounding housing areas have been evacuated until an all clear can be determined.

GHS/OCD, in coordination with the Naval Base Guam and Guam Police Department, will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.
