GHS/OCD Host Fuel Storage Tank Emergency Management Training

The Offices of Guam Homeland Security and Civil Defense (GHS/OCD), in coordination with the UCLA – Labor Occupational Safety and Health (LOSH) Program, will host the Fuel Storage Tank Emergency Management training at the GHS/OCD facility, Agana Heights. The course is offered two separate times:
 
  • Thursday, May 3, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, May 4, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The eight-hour course teaches firefighters and fuel storage facility personnel how to control or limit damage during a storage tank or facility spill and fire. The course includes group problem solving, table-top exercises.

Attendees for the course include firefighters and fuel storage facility personnel, from the Government of Guam, federal, military, private, and non-profit organizations.
